Alicia Banas

I served as a full time missionary  with Medical Ambassadors Philippines (MAP) for 40 years and started when as a very young  nurse in the 80’s I enthusiastically heeded God’s call to serve in the mountains, and shared  the Good News of Salvation through holistic ministry to the unreached tribal communities.

For over 4 decades  in the mission I witnessed many beautiful and blessed moments coupled with mountain top experiences.  But there were also challenges and the ups and downs of the ministry.  In those rough times, the Lord taught me one thing: to trust in and obey Christ alone.  (ALICIA T.BANAS, RN,MHPEd, EdD; NCFI –FCN Global Coordinator; PACEA Regional Chair)
