THEME: Opportunities and Challenges in Nursing Today: A Christ Centered Response
.Call for abstracts
NCFI members and interested Christian nurses are invited to submit abstracts for presenting at the 2020 NCFI World Congress. Applications are still open, and the second call for abstracts will close on January 15th. Abstracts should present new research or developing information on “Opportunities and Challenges in Nursing Today: A Christ-centered Response”. All abstracts will be submitted online. The Abstract Review Program Committee and NCFI external reviewers will review and score submissions. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis, after which the disposition of each abstract will be sent via e-mail to the presenting author who must submit an accurate professional e-mail address for this purpose.

Abstracts from the Latin American Region are open until January 15th. Although abstract submissions closed on September 15th, we will be keeping the site up until October 15th specifically for the purpose of receiving abstracts from the region of Latin America.
If you are not from the Latin American region, please be advised that you can still submit, but that your abstract will be wait listed for review, in the order that it was received. NCFI will look at the wait-listed abstracts on a space available basis after the October 15th extended deadline.
Themes for abstracts
Theme 1. Opportunities and challenges in nursing education
Incorporate values, ethics and spiritual care into the education of our future nurses. Papers on how curricula in your school reflects spiritual care; on what challenges you face in your school or country with regard to nursing education, values, and ethics.
Theme 2. Opportunities and challenges at the point of the nursing care encounter
Practice nursing with Christ-like caring, competence and excellence. Papers on how you put spiritual care into practice; how you assess and meet the holistic needs of your patients; why compassion and excellence is a hallmark of Christ like caring; challenges of putting your faith into practice.
Theme 3. Opportunities and challenges in global nursing
Engage in nursing from a worldwide perspective. Papers in this theme may address caring for immigrant and displaced populations; working with and dealing with nurses from other countries; missionary nurses, challenges of nursing shortages due to immigration.
TYPES OF SUBMISSIONS:
NCFI is open to a variety of types of presentations. Papers can relate to any of these topics in practice, education, research, international nursing or personal testimonies and experiences related to them. Abstracts will be selected on the basis of their nursing, Christian, and scientific significance. We will also evaluate timeliness, quality, and adherence to specific format requirement. please submit your abstract using the form below.“]>
